Certificate is held by white ribbons at each corner. Certificate has gold seal with attached blue ribbon, affixed to the bottom left corner. Certificate text, in blue and black, reads:

in recognition of your extraordinary demonstration of leadership, courage, strength, and commitment to Black South africans in the struggle against apartheid snd to people of color throughout the world.
The entire membership extends its very best wishes and expresses the hope for future good fortune and continued success in all endeavors.
