Know Your Nation is the brainchild of Tim Mostert, the Speedy cartoonist from the Daily Sun newspaper. Know Your Nation approaches learning from a different paradigm, from the mind of a cartoonist. That means it’s short and to the point, with a bit of levity and comic strips thrown in, and it never gets boring. Each article is one page long with strong visuals.

Nelson Mandela cautions that people should not discriminate or stigmatise people that are living with the disease and people must talk about sex with the children to make them aware of the dangers of HIV/AIDS in the fight against HIV/AIDS. President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf during a lecture titled “Behold the new Africa”, stressed the importance of transparent, accountable government and the need to fight corruption in Africa.
This item consists of an envelope addressed to the legal firm of Pillay Seedat & Co. For security reasons, Judge Pillay had a family member mail an empty envelope to the firm. This precaution was taken to protect Mac Maharaj and Judge Pillay in the event of an interrogation by Security Police. The Judge could then say that he had received the documents from an unknown source through the post.
