Programme directors were Basetsana Kumalo, Tim Modise, Prof Jakes Gerwel chair of the Nelson Mandela Foundation, as well and Khanyisile Dlomo- Mkhize. Mandela receiving videotaped birthday messages from Muammar Gaddafi, Kofi Annan, Anton Rupert, Anthony O Reilley, Hugh Masekela, Bill Cosby as well as Evita Bezuidenhout. Music entertainment by Sibongile Khumalo, Dorothy Masuku and Yvonne Chakachaka. Poetry by Don Mattera.
