Banquet in Honour of President Mandela Mansion House 10 July 1996
We Rejoice with the "Rainbow People."
And the country they call "God's Own:"
We sing alleluia and praise be!!
For the Commonwealth, our world-wide home.
We give God the glory for good things,
This feast before our eyes
And pray for the needy and helpless,
Their anguish, their tears, and their sighs.
We lift their sights to that Rainbow
And make them aware of the best
That is born of courage and patience
And peace loving souls like our guest.
