In grateful recognition of his meritorious service in the sacred cause of alleviating the suffering and hardship of our fellow human beings, wherever they may be in need, and regardless of their race, creed, religious or political beliefs, wherever they may be found, carried out in the finest traditions of our founder, Henri Dunant.
