Recognition of the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Microalga spirulina against malnutrition (CISRI-ISP)
Whereas the CISRI-ISP is an International Intergovernmental Organization, established by Multilateral agreement, registered with the Secretariat of the United Nations at N. 37542 of the United Nations treaty Series (UNTS), according to Article 102 of the UN Charter,
Whereas the Agreement has been duly signed by the governments of: Benin, Burundi,Democratic Republic of Congo, Equitorial Guinea, Guinea, Italy, Magagascar, Sao Tome and Principe with agreement of Cameroun, Gambia
Whereas the Institution has been declared permanent observer to the United Nations by decision E/2003/212 of the Economic and Social council, dated 5 March 2003
Recognizing the valor, fidelity, integrity and commitment of
H.E. President Nelson Mandela
has decided to confer him the:
Highest Honour for Humanitarian Merit
per Article 4 of the Multilateral Agreement N. 37542 of the UNTS (United Nations Treaty Series)
In Witness whereof the Secretary General has affixed his signature on the recognition, the day 18 Lug, 2008
