President Nelson Mandela and Deputy President Thabo Mbeki today conveyed their congratulations to US Senate and the White House on the conclusion of President Bill Clinton's impeachment hearing.
Both President Mandela and Deputy President Mbeki expressed their confidence that a conclusion of the hearing will enable the US Government to focus on important issues of helping to create a better life for the people of the US in particular and the world in general.
This would include the most pressing issues such as the restructuring of the world economy as it impacts on the developing world, and specifically on African development.
